Northern New Jersey Tarot was founded in August, 2016, as a "Meetup Group", where fellow card readers, new to the cards or having worked with them for years, could meet and talk cards, study, practice and make new friendships.

We have several members who have been with us from the start who are now reading professionally.

​

As of January 2025, we have fully transitioned back to a virtual group, meeting via Zoom the third Thursday evening of the month from 7:00pm ET to 8:30pm ET.  

​

This year, our focus is on "The Major and Minor Arcana: An Exploration from Zero to Nine".  Each month, we'll progress one major arcana card at a time and look not only at the traditional interpretation of the card and it's corresponding minor arcana cards of the same number,  but how that information is represented in other formats, whether culinary, language arts, dance, music, film, etc.

We will continue to invite guest instructors to our group for special workshops.  Some of our past guests include, Patrick Valenza, Courtney Weber, Sasha Graham, Debbie Chapnick, Madame Pamita, Nancy Hendrickson, Janet Piedilato, Jason Miller, Mark Horn, Erika Robinson and Mei Jin Lu.
